Hannah Montana: The Movie just opened April 10 to top ticket sales. This comes after last year’s sold-out Cyrus-Montana concert tour and her Best of Both Worlds Concert 3D movie, which was a hit concert film which grossed more than $60 million.

It’s no wonder, really, that Hannah Montana was not the first acting gig for Miley Cyrus, or that her concert tickets sell out in multiple cities around the country. Growing up watching her dad perform, naturally some of those acting chops rubbed off on her. Not surprisingly, the 2007 release of her CD set “Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus” was just as popular, if not more. With the songs on that album Miley Cyrus set out on a tour with soaring ticket sales. Full of energy and vision, the road just kept on going and the film “Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both World Concert” was born. Because of the immense fan base shared by Hannah Montana and Miley Cyrus, tickets for the movie made it a record setter as #1 movie in the country it’s opening week.

Even though Miley Cyrus is still making it as Hannah Montana, spreading her wings has proven to be a great experience; one that has brought her mega success.
