Demi Lovato

“Demi” Lovato (Demetria Devonne) is the fresh faced actress who played Mitchie Torres in the Disney Channel Original Movie Camp Rock.  While her real start in show business came when she was just six years old, as Angela on the Barney and Friends Show, she can also be seen in the hit Disney Channel Original Series Sonny with a Chance, where she plays Sonny Monroe. With credits such as these, you wouldn’t necessarily guess that Demi Lovato is a mega ticket selling singer and songwriter!

Besides starring in Disney shows, this driven young woman is also a solo music artist who recently released her debut album Don’t Forget.   The album was placed on the shelves of music stores countrywide on September 23, 2008, and right away hit #2 on the Billboard 200 chart thanks to sales of over 89,000 copies in the first week.  But the chart destination did not come overnight.  Demi Lovato began working far before that first record came out.

Demi Lovato, ticket selling teen queen, was actually singing and dancing from a young age.  Some of the songs she wrote herself, including the song “Shadow”, were featured on the Disney show As the Bell Rings.  On DisneyMania 6, she sang “That’s How You Know”, the Academy Award nominated song from the motion picture Enchanted.  “Who Will I Be?”, “Our Time is Here”, and “This is Me” are songs that she recorded for the Camp Rock soundtrack.

Still getting to the point in her journey where Demi Lovato concert tickets are sold worldwide, the talented young start also served as the national Hasbro “Hit Clips” spokesperson for some time, and has done voiceover work for national radio and television ads for major companies such as Hasbro, Denny’s and Radica.  In her home state of Texas, she has many competitive titles to her name from statewide talent competitions.  This was the road that lead Demi Lovato to signing a record deal with Hollywood Records, the same company that signed the Jonas Brothers.

Being signed by the same label no doubt had something to do with the fact that several songs on her debut album were co-written with the trio.  Lovato also starred alongside the Jonas Brothers in Camp Rock.  Not surprisingly, they share much of the same fan base.  Fans of Jonas Brothers gobble up Demi Lovato concert tickets too.

At such a young age, Demi Lovato has already sung at such prestigious venues as the Eismann Center and the Dallas Cowboy’s Thanksgiving Day Half Time Show, where she performed with mega star Leanne Rimes.  While she is still somewhat new to the music scene, and not yet selling out world tours, Demi Lovato concert tickets are on sale for two shows happening later this year.  One show will be in Ohio and the other in Indiana.
